II INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON POLYPHENOLS AND HEALTH
University of California, Davis, California
For more information, email polyphenols@ucdavis.edu or visit http://polyphenols.ucdavis.edu
Based on the success of the 1st International Conference on Polyphenols and Health in Vichy, France, and the continuous interest in how these natural substances could be an important factor in improving public health, the goal of the second conference is to focus on the most important areas of recent success linking POLYPHENOLS AND HEALTH. Also the conference is aim to explore those topics that could be the most interesting in the future. The scientific sessions of the meeting will include:
Basic biological mechanisms of action of polyphenols
Cardiovascular disease, cancer and neurodegeneration: physiological, clinical and epidemiological data
Metabolism and biological fate of polyphenols
Novel effects of polyphenols: genomics and metabolomics
